I fist met Kurt and Nicole and their daughter Kimber for my Christmas mini sessions. Kimber had the best smile in all of her photos! Later Nicole contacted me to tell she was actually pregnant and wanted to book a maternity and newborn session with me. I was thrilled to be able to work with this sweet family again!
For Nicole’s maternity session she wanted snow! It was meant to be because the night before her session we had a snow storm. We were thrilled to have beautiful fresh snow! I dressed in my winter coat, hat and gloves, meanwhile Nicole had only a beautiful blue dress. She was such a trooper and braved the cold! I’d have to say it was well worth it…her maternity photos are gorgeous with that fresh snow! Nashotah Park was the perfect place for her session with all the beautiful snow covered trees. We even had time for a second location at the Fish Hatchery in Delafield. We didn’t last long at the second location, but just enough to grab some cute photos!

When it came time for Cooper’s newborn session Nicole mentioned how her husband Kurt was into golf and how she would like to incorporate it. Kurt ended up going to a local golfing range and asking to borrow a range bucket (I think that’s what you call them?!). I can only imagine what the employee at the range was thinking! I also feel the need to mention that Kurt went to Old Navy and picked out all the outfits so Nicole didn’t have to! I’m not so sure I’d trust my husband to pick our outfits out, but he did amazing and deserves some recognition!

I absolutely loved my time with this family and loved being able to document the journey from bump to baby!
